Colt Warranty

Age of vehicle from the year of make which are not more than 8years from manufacturing year, odometer mileage reading shall not exceed 140,000km at the time of activation of this warranty.

Warranty period is activated from the registration date for 1 year or 25,000 kms (whichever comes first basis based on date & mileage recorded on the booklet).

There is a 14 day & 500kms cooling-off period from the coverage starting date & mileage, claims only can be made after this period.

There is a RM6,000 limit per claim, on total aggregate up to RM25,000.

There are four important notes regarding the RM6,000 limit:

1. RM6,000 is a maximum limit, there is no minimum amount to proceed for claim
2. No processing fee or excess charge for filing a claim report
3. Until the RM25,000 on total aggregate is fulfilled, any item that has been claimed beforehand can be claimed again as long as proven faulty
4. Upon approval of claims, covered parts & labour, an official approval letter will be issued to the respective workshops therefore customers will not be required to make payment for approved items. Excluded items are wear & tear items, normal service items, eg : engine oil, oil filter, oil seal, brake fluid, steering fluid, brake pads

Customers are required to perform routine service of their vehicles at any GMR’s panel workshops only.

Fully Synthetic Oil – Every 10,000kms or 6 months whichever occurs first

Semi Synthetic Oil – Every 7,000kms or 4 months whichever occurs first

Guard My Ride Colt Warranty Program only covers under the systems are:

• Engine System
• Gearbox System

• This policy does not cover any loss, damage liability or costs directly or indirectly related to or caused by or arising out of in consequence of damage by fire, theft, burglary, accident, neglect, misuse or abuse, among other criteria. For the full exclusion list please refer to the GMR booklet or get in touch with our customer service for more info.
• Not accepted for damage caused by oil seepage, water entry, modification, noise, overheated, fire, accident, timing run out, water leaking, crack, melted.
• Not include for lubricant oil, oil ring, seal, cable, gasket, screw, bearing, programming, fuse, relay, sealant, lamp bulb, wiper blade, belting, timing belt and chains, thermostat, filters, hoses, wear and tear item.
• Any cause to engine oil consumption are not covered (ACE & COLT Policy).

Towing is available throughout West Malaysia (not available for Thailand & Singapore), towing number 019-929 9339. Vehicles will be towed to the nearest panel workshops, of which the fees incurred will be free up to a limit of RM300, any amount exceeding RM300 will be paid by customers.
