PRO Warranty

Warranty period is activated from the registration date for 1 year or 25,000 kms / 2 years or 50,000 kms (whichever comes first basis based on date & mileage recorded on the booklet).

There is a RM15,000 limit per claim, on total aggregate up to RM100,000.

There are four important notes regarding the RM15,000 limit:

1. RM15,000 is a maximum limit, there is no minimum amount to proceed for claim
2. No processing fee or excess charge for filing a claim report
3. Until the RM100,000 on total aggregate is fulfilled, any item that has been claimed beforehand can be claimed again as long as proven faulty
4. Upon approval of claims, covered parts & labour, an official approval letter will be issued to the respective workshops therefore customers will not be required to make payment for approved items. Excluded items are wear & tear items, normal service items, eg : engine oil, oil filter, oil seal, brake fluid, steering fluid, brake pads

Guard My Ride Pro Warranty Program only covers Mechanical & Electrical items, under the systems are:

• Engine
• Gearbox
• Front & 4Wheel Drive system
• Rear Axle
• Ignition system (eg: Injector, Ignition Coil, Alternator, Starter)
• Fuel system (eg: Fuel Pump, Air mass Sensor, Nox Sensor)
• Cooling system (eg: Fan Motor, Water Pump)
• Steering Mechanism (eg: Power Steering Pump, Steering Motor, Steering Rack, Steering angle sensor. Excluded items : Couplings)
• Air-conditioning system (eg: Compressor, Blower, Stepper, Control Unit, Cabin Temp Sensor. Excluded items : Cooling Coil)
• Braking System (eg: Master Pump, ABS Pump, Control Units. Excluded Items : Brake Pad, Caliper, Disc)
• Electrical Components (eg: Airbag sensors, Headlamp Module, Electrical seat Module & Motor, Central Locking actuator, Power Window Motor)
• Major Oil Leak (As minor oil leaks caused by oil seal, oil leaks will only be covered when mechanical or electrical components are causing the oil leaks)

Customers are required to perform routine service of their vehicles at any GMR’s panel workshops every 6 months or 10,000 kms fully synthetic engine oil (whichever comes first basis based on date & mileage recorded on the booklet). For the updated list of workshops, please please click here.

• This policy does not cover any loss, damage liability or costs directly or indirectly related to or caused by or arising out of in consequence of damage by fire, theft, burglary, accident, neglect, misuse or abuse, among other criteria. For the full exclusion list please refer to the GMR booklet or get in touch with our customer service for more info.
• Not accepted for damage caused by oil seepage, water entry, modification, noise, overheated, fire, accident, timing run out, water leaking, crack, melted.
• Not include for lubricant oil, oil ring, seal, cable, gasket, screw, bearing, programming, fuse, relay, sealant, lamp bulb, wiper blade, belting, timing belt and chains, thermostat, filters, hoses, wear and tear item.

Towing is available throughout West Malaysia (not available for Thailand & Singapore), towing number 019-929 9339. Vehicles will be towed to the nearest panel workshops, of which the fees incurred will be free up to a limit of RM300, any amount exceeding RM300 will be paid by customers.
